Tumwater: Chrome on the Range

Chrome on the Range: Classic Cars, Energetic Music, Eclectic Food and Community Fun

Chrome on the Range rolls into Tumwater on the last day of July for an energetic evening of cars, music, food and connections. The Lacey, Capital, Chehalis and Extreme Collision Centers is partnering with the City of Tumwater’s Parks & Recreation Department for this inaugural event taking place on the 10 acres of manicured grass at the Tumwater Driving Range. Mark your calendar for Friday, July 31st from 6:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.

“Lacey, Capital, Chehalis, Extreme Collision is a big community sponsor of parks and recreation events. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the people there wanted to do an event in tandem with the City of Tumwater,” says Marissa Worden recreation marketing specialist. It’s the perfect recipe for a party.

The concert headliner LANCO is a touring Nashville band bringing its signature blend of country rock energy. Event proceeds benefit the First Tee youth golf program at Tumwater Valley Golf Club, which is building a dedicated practice facility for golfers 17 and younger.

Chrome on the Range is an all-ages event. The over-21 crowd can visit the beer garden. Everyone can find the food they like from the variety of vendors including the following:

Ay Chihuahua Dawgs: gourmet hot dogs, including vegetarian options

Tin Hut BBQ: brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, and more. Veteran owned

Meggie’s Lumpia: Filipino food with chicken adobo, pancit, lumpia, and beef kaldereta

Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee: A wide variety of drinks

Sweetlee’s Ice Cream: featuring local ingredients, delicious waffle cones made on site, and dairy-free/vegan options
