DESCRIPTION:The Nisqually Watershed Festival is an annual\, family-frien
 dly event celebrating local culture\, history\, and the environment. Hel
 d at the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in Olympia\,
  WA\, it features guided nature walks\, live animal encounters\, interac
 tive educational exhibits\, and a traditional salmon barbecue.\n\n\nWhat
  to Expect\n\n\n\n 	Live Performances &amp\; Demonstrations: Traditional
  songs and dances by the Nisqually Indian Tribe Canoe Family and perform
 ances by the Olympia Highlanders bagpipers.\n 	Animal Encounters: Catch 
 shows featuring live birds of prey\, reptiles\, and insects.\n 	Hands-On
  Activities: Kids and adults can step inside a giant\, walk-through salm
 on replica\, decorate custom T-shirts\, and take part in science and con
 servation demonstrations (like invasive species archery).\n 	Local Food:
  The Nisqually Indian Tribe provides fish for the popular salmon barbecu
 e lunch\, alongside other food and coffee vendors.\n\n\n\n\nImportant Pa

 . You can park and catch a free\, high-frequency shuttle to the event:\n

  Bay Rd. NE\, Olympia\, WA 98516)\n 	Shuttles run approximately every 15
